Newport News, VA – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced today a partnership with Reaching Our Goal to help modernize USCAA member institutions’ fundraising efforts focusing on athletic teams. To kick off the partnership, principals of Reaching Our Goal will be traveling around the country to meet with USCAA-member Athletic Directors and Coaches to introduce the ROG process in time for the Fall semester.
Reaching Our Goal’s fundraising system connects student-athletes with their personal fans around the country via customized and automated email and social media messaging. Supporters read about the team and their fundraising goals, and then make contributions that average more than $50 each. Research has proven that personalized donation appeals are more effective fundraising methods than product sales.
To spark an ROG fundraising campaign, student-athletes spend just ten minutes entering email addresses of potential supporters into their team’s online campaign. The ROG system does the rest, including asking for the contribution, tracking and processing transactions, providing real time reports to coaches and administrations, and even thanking and gifting supporters. With ROG, USCAA teams can raise thousands of dollars without having to sell products or even be on campus during the campaigns.
