2014-15 USCAA Eligibility Form Changes

2014-15 USCAA Eligibility Form Changes

The USCAA will be implementing several changes to its eligibility form for the 2014-15 academic year. These changes are necessary for members to more accurately report relevant data on student-athlete eligibility to the USCAA National Office. The full listing of changes can be found below:

1. The column for total terms of attendance has been deleted.

-As the USCAA does not have an eligibility time clock, this column is not necessary to determine eligibility status of USCAA student-athletes.

2. A column has been added for notes

-As requested, this space will allow institutions to make notes on a particular student-athlete’s eligibility. For example, if a school determines that a student- athlete is eligible based on a specific bylaw, that bylaw should be notated in this column.

3. A column has been added for hours completed three terms previous

-This column is necessary for the USCAA National Office to confirm the eligibility status of spring sport student-athletes and students in quarter systems.

The adjusted eligibility form is linked below, and can be found under the forms section of the USCAA website. We ask that all schools inform their registrars of the change immediately to expedite eligibility documentation processing this fall.
