Newport News, VA. – The 2015 USCAA Baseball National Championship is returning to a familiar place. The Apprentice School, in partnership with the Peninsula Pilots, will be hosting the 2015 Small College World Series. The tournament was previously scheduled to be hosted by Penn State Greater Allegheny in Butler, Pennsylvania
The USCAA Baseball National Championship returns to Hampton, Virginia and War Memorial Stadium where it was held during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. War Memorial serves as the home of the Pilots, an amateur collegiate summer league team in the Coastal Plains League, as well as The Apprentice School’s baseball team. The stadium has a seating capacity of 3,750 spectators.
The dates of the championship are May 10-14, 2015. A banquet and home run derby will be held on that Sunday to open the tournament. More information will be distributed on the 2015 USCAA Baseball National Championship as we get closer to the dates of the tournament.
Bids are currently being accepted for the 2016-17 USCAA Small College World Series.
