Berea College and SUNY-Delhi Claim Wins in USCAA Track & Field Invitational

On Saturday, April 30th, SUNY Delhi hosted the first USCAA Track & Field Invitational since 2004. A total of 46 events were held during the event, attended by USCAA institutions Albany College of Pharmacy, Alfred State College, Berea College, Bryant and Stratton-Syracuse, SUNY Delhi, SUNY ESF, and University of Dallas. A full list of the team and individual winners are linked below.   

In the USCAA Women’s Track & Field Invitational, Berea College was victorious with 229 points. Alfred State College finished second in the seven team field with 105.5 points, followed by University of Dallas with 89. In the men’s field, SUNY-Delhi took the title with a 257-point effort. Berea College finished second with 222.5 points and Alfred State College rounded out the top three with 127 total points.

As the USCAA pursues growth in Track & Field, the association plans to continue offering an invitational tournament each spring. Schools that offer Track & Field, or are considering adding the sport in the near future, are encouraged to reach out to the USCAA National Office to become involved in future events and discussion on sport growth.
