NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA – Berkeley College Athletic Director, Andrew DeStephano, has been named the 2014-15 Garth Pleasant Honorary Athletic Director of the Award at the USCAA National Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Andrew is receiving the annual honor for his strong advocacy and leadership within the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). In addition, Andrew has spearheaded efforts to make the Hudson Valley Athletic Conference recognized by the USCAA.
To illustrate Andrew’s commitment to helping the USCAA expand, he is currently leading the growth of Tennis in the USCAA. Lastly, Berkeley College (NY) won the USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball National Championship defeating Penn State Mont Alto, 57-55, in overtime.
