USCAA National Golf Championship Information

Penn State Wilkes-Barre and the Penn State University Blue Course to Host Tournament

NEWPORT NEWS, VA, October 1, 2009 - The USCAA National Golf Championship will be held on October 11- 13 at the Penn State University Blue Course in University Park, PA.  The tournament will be hosted by USCAA member Penn State Wilkes-Barre.  The tournament will consist of a practice round and coaches meeting on Sunday, October 11, followed by one 18 hole round of golf on Monday and one round on Tuesday.  Immediately following the championship round will be awards ceremonies and a tournament banquet. 

            The USCAA has provided a National Golf Championship information packet that can be found on the USCAA website here, Golf Information.  The packet provides members that will be attending the tournament with useful information to best plan and enjoy their trip.  Information provided in the packet includes:

• Tournament contact information
• Important dates and deadlines
• Schedule of events and course rules
• Lodging and airport information
• Course and area maps
• Glossary of practical information
• Tournament forms (entry form, travel party lists, banquet reservation, t-shirt order)
