The first day of the 2011 USCAA Soccer National Championships in Asheville, North Carolina are in the books. On the men’s side, returning champs and top seeded University of Maine - Fort Kent beat 8th seeded Warren Wilson College 10-2. Meanwhile, the second seed Briarcliffe College shut out Penn College 2-0. Southern Maine CC, the sixth seed, fell tothird seeded Florida College by a score of 1-3. In the last game men's game 5th seeded Lindenwood Belleville defeated 4th seed Ohio Mid-Western by a score of 8-1.

In the women's bracket the 5th seeded Marygrove Mustangs eliminated the 4th seed, Lindenwood Belleville, by a score of 2-0.  The 6th seeded Ohio Mid-Western Rams shut out the University of Maine-Machias Clippers, winning by a score of 5-0.  Number one seed University of Maine - Fort Kent beat out 8th seeded Warren Wilson College (4-0). To conclude the women's side,  2nd seeded Washington Adventist Univerity went on to beat Hampshire College (4-1).
