2011 USCAA Soccer National Championships
For Immediate Release

Newport News, VA – The fields for the 2011 USCAA Men’s and Women’s Soccer National Championships have been finalized. The Championships will feature four institutions with a Men’s and Women’s team present; University of Maine-Fort Kent, Lindenwood-Belleville, Ohio Midwestern, and tournament host Warren Wilson College.

Also, gaining bids on the men’s side were Briarcliffe, Florida College, and Southern Maine Community College. The Penn State University Athletic Conference tournament this weekend will decide the last spot in the men’s bracket. On the women’s side Washington Adventist, University of Maine-Machias, Hampshire, and Marygrove complete the tournament field.

Teams on both sides will be looking up at the UMFK Bengals, the defending Men’s and Women’s Soccer Champions. Both UMFK teams have been ranked number one in the USCAA throughout the season. Lindenwood-Belleville, the early leader in the running for the Director’s Cup after winning the Golf National Championship earlier this month, will look to increase their lead with strong performances from their men’s and women’s teams. Complete listings of the men’s and women’s soccer brackets with seeding are linked below.

The 2011 USCAA Soccer National Championships will be hosted by Warren Wilson College at the John B. Lewis Soccer Complex in Asheville, North Carolina November 3rd through the 5th. Women’s games will begin Thursday at noon with men’s games beginning at 2:00 p.m. If you would like more information on USCAA Soccer or the Soccer National Championship visit this page.
