STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Lyon College shot eight-over-par 296 on Tuesday for a tournament total of 21-over-par 597 to claim the 2023 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Golf National Championship at the Penn State University Blue Course.
The Scots opened the tournament with a 13-over-par 301 on Monday, but finished with all five scoring members earning USCAA All-American honors. Ryan Kriz was the top finisher coming in third after a 76 on Tuesday for a 148 two-day score. Manav Perfecto was in a tie for fourth after a final round of 73 for a 149, Jackson Baughman was alone in sixth following his 73 on Tuesday for a 150 total and Tyler Doucet was in a tie for seventh after a 74 on Tuesday for a 152 total.
All four of those were first-team honorees, while Beau Perry was in a tie for ninth and earned second-team honors after a 78 for a 154 total.
Penn State Hazleton was second overall with a tournament total of 30-over-par 606 following a 300 round on Tuesday. Dylan Antolick earned USCAA Individual National Champion honors with an even-par 72 for a 146 total. Joey Rebarchik also earned first-team All-American honors after a 76 on Tuesday for a 152 total, while Colin Hoy was a second-team All-American following his 75 on Tuesday for a 154 score.
Johnson & Wales Charlotte was third ending the tournament with a 48-over-par 624 having shot a pair of 312 rounds. Luke Cochran was second individually with a four-over-par 76 on Tuesday for a 147 tournament total.
The women’s individual champion was Maria Jackson from Johnson & Wales Charlotte with a three-over-par 75 on Tuesday ending the event with a nine-over-par 153.
