Katherine Stockton was born in Brockton, MA in 1985. Her parents, Thomas and Deborah Stockton, moved to Claremont, New Hampshire in 1986 where Katherine spent her younger years with her sister Melissa Stockton, and her brother Robert Stockton. It was in this town that Katherine began playing soccer at the age of eight first coached by her father and later guided by Laurie St. Pierre. Katherine also participated in other sports growing up including basketball, softball, and ice hockey.

In 1999, Katherine attended Stevens High School in Claremont, NH where she played 4 years of varsity soccer and softball, as well years of varsity basketball. During her high school soccer career, resulting in second and fourth place awards in the Girls Class I State Championship, KT was the co-captain of the team her senior year and received several honors and awards including MVP and the Gatorade Player of the Year.

Upon graduating from Stevens High School in 2003, Katherine attended New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) in Concord, NH to pursue a career in Radiology. She spent four years at NHTI, three of those years playing women’s soccer under the guidance of Steve Ambra and Linda Otten. During those years, Katherine was part of an extremely successful program capturing three Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) championships and making several appearances in National Tournaments. She was co-captain her sophomore and junior year and received three All-American Awards and conference tournament MVPs. Katherine led the nation in goals and assists in 2003, 2004, and 2005 with 59 goals and 41 assists in her career. In 2005, Katherine was given the opportunity to join a United States (US) women’s soccer team comprised of several players from across the country. This team competed in a women’s soccer tournament in Australia, the Northern University Games, and took home first place in the tournament.

During her last year at NHTI, Katherine stepped off the field and onto the sidelines as an assistant coach to the Concord High School varsity and junior varsity girls soccer teams. Upon graduating at NHTI in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Radiology, Katherine pursued a Radiologic Technologist position at Concord Hospital and accepted an assistant coaching position for women’s soccer and basketball at NHTI. While assistant coach, the NHTI women’s team would capture another YSCC Championship.

In her spare time, Katherine enjoys running and coaching youth soccer. In 2013, Katherine joined the MGH Marathon Team to compete in the Boston Marathon as a charity fundraiser for the care of pediatric oncology patients and accepted a position as the CT Technical Manager.  After being away from soccer for 5 years, Katherin began volunteering her time to coach an U10 girl’s soccer in Wakefield, MA. Katherine currently resides in the Boston area of Massachusetts.
