A two-year player from Central Maine Community College from 2012-2014, French has left a lasting impact on the program. In just two seasons with the program, French was honored countless times, with two First Team All-American Honors, two Yankee Conference Player of the Year awards, and two USCAA All-Academic Honors. Going to the National Tournament both years she was able to leave as a runner-up in the 2014 tournament just prior to her receiving a full basketball scholarship to NCAA Division II Franklin Pierce University. French started every game in her two years at CMCC, after distinguishing herself by her personal hard work, earning respect for her demonstrated ability to foster growth in her teammates. She left an impact on the team atmosphere by challenging teammates on a daily basis to become better and to push beyond their comfort zones takes a delicate balance of goal setting, maturity, and respect.
