Jenna Petrucci began her tenure with the USCAA in 2022 as the Assistant Director of Compliance & Member Services and quickly transititioned to the role of Assistant Director of Championships and Compliance in 2023.  In this position, Jenna is responsible for the completion of all tasks in relation to member compliance and member services to enhance the USCAA membership experience. Her responsibilities will range from maintaining internal platforms for eligibility forms, transfer verifications, and database management to serving on the eligibility appeals committee and distributing compliance correspondence to the COO, Board of Directors, and member schools.  Additionally, she will oversee all planning and implementation for the Golf and Basketball Small College National Championships as well as the Small College World Series.  

Formerly the Assistant to the Director of Athletics at Division III Thiel College in Greenville, PA, Petrucci was actively involved in all aspects of athletics operations and administration, including: budget management, compliance and eligibility, student-athlete development and well-being, recruitment and retention of student-athletes.

A native of New Castle, PA, Petrucci earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Management from USCAA member institution, Penn State Beaver, where she was a four-year member of the volleyball, basketball and softball teams. She received a master’s degree in Sport Management from California University of Pennsylvania in 2019 and a second master’s degree from Thiel College in Leadership and Communication in May 2022.

As a former USCAA student-athlete, she will bring a unique perspective to the Association in addition to her athletic administration experience from Thiel,” states USCAA COO, BJ Bertges. “I know it will not take her long to settle in and start to build meaningful relationships with our members.”

In women’s basketball, Petrucci was part of the team’s Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) championships in 2014 and 2016. She was the captain of the volleyball team for three seasons and twice earned all-conference honors, including first team recognition in 2015. She also earned All-American honorable mention accolades from the USCAA. She was a three-time all-conference player in softball, including second team honors in 2016.

During her career at Penn State Beaver, Petrucci was a student assistant for the athletics department, serving as a paraprofessional, recreation day event planner, media guide production assistant and summer youth camp counselor and coach. She was involved with Penn State Beaver’s Varsity Club, Business Club, THON and the Blue and White Society.
