PC Saints Football Announces Four New Recruits For 2013 Season

PC Saints Head Football Coach Andy Carr continues to build a solid base for the 2013 season, adding four new members to the Saints football program. Freshmen Christopher AlbanDallas GreenAustin Olson and Zachary Sahlihave each committed to play for the Saints in the fall.

Christopher Alban hails from Peyton Colorado, where he attended Falcon High School. A 2 year letter winner under head coach Trevor Hudson, Alban helped his team to back to back 7-3 seasons his junior and senior year, both times advancing to the playoffs. He plans on majoring in Psychology at Presentation.

Dallas Green comes to PC from Longview Texas, where he played defensive lineman for Longview High School.  A two year letter winner for head coach Bobby Chaddwick, Green earned a team captaincy his senior year, registering 79 tackles, 1 interception, 4 sacks and 3 fumble recoveries. His efforts earned him a selection to the Heart of a Champion Bowl. His junior year was equally as impressive. He registered 49 tackles, 3 sacks and 10 total tackles for loss. He was rewarded with a 2nd team All District selection. Dallas will study Secondary Education at Presentation.

South Dakota native Austin Olson joins the Saints program from Rapid City, where he played center for St. Thomas More High School. Under head coach Wayne Sullivan, Olson anchored an offensive line that posted a 7-3 mark his senior year, advancing to the state quarterfinals. For his efforts, he was named both an All State and All Conference center. During his junior year, he helped his team to a 9-2 record and a spot in the state semifinals. Austin plans on majoring in Exercise Science.

A fellow South Dakota native caps off this successful group. Zachary Sahli, who played at Edmunds Central High School in Roscoe, SD is set to joins the Saints this fall. A 2 year letter winner for head coach Brian Hogie, Zack was named a team captain his senior year, recording 10 tackles and helping his team earn a spot in the state playoffs. He will study Business at Presentation.

Coach Carr says with these four new players, he believes the "foundation of strength and character we've built within our program will continue to grow with the addition of Chris, Dallas, Austin and Zack."
