With the spring season beginning, we ask that coaches and administrators make note of the following Baseball and Softball dates. More information will be distributed during the spring regarding All-American and National All-Academic dates.
March 10th – First date that Players of the Week will be awarded for Baseball and Softball
All weeks prior will be considered at this point. Any weekly performance prior to March 18th can be submitted for consideration at this time. Player of the Week nominations will be accepted weekly from this point until the end of the season.
March 25th – First reporting date for Baseball and Softball
By this date all teams will be required to have updated their scores and statistics for all games played. The reporting date will be each Wednesday thereafter until the end of the season.
April 3rd – First coaches poll for Baseball and Softball
The first week of the coaches poll for Baseball and Softball will be publicized. The poll lasts five weeks, leading up to Bid Day for Baseball and Softball.
May 1st – Bid day for Baseball and Softball
Bids for the USCAA Baseball and Softball National Championships will be announced on this date. Bid selection shows through video will be posted on the USCAA website.
May 10th – Baseball and Softball National Championships begin
The USCAA Baseball National Championship is hosted by The Apprentice School in Hampton, Virginia. The USCAA Softball National Championships returns to Akron, Ohio, hosted by the Akron Racers and Penn State Beaver.
