Baseball and Softball All-American, National All-Academic, and Championship Dates

Starting this Wednesday, April 15, at 9:00 A.M. EST the USCAA will open the nomination window for baseball and softball All-Americans. Coaches can log into PrestoSports by clicking this link and nominate potential All-Americans until April 22nd at 12:00 P.M. EST. After logging into the system, using the same credentials from nominating Player of the Week, coaches then nominate four student-athletes per team.

April 22nd All-American voting begins at 3:00 P.M. EST. The window for voting will remain open until April 27, at 12:00 P.M EST. Coaches will be allowed to vote on the All-Americans nominations from their sport. Coaches will be allowed to vote on First-Team All-American, Second-Team All-American, and Honorable Mention All-American (noted in the system as Third-Team All-American). Voters should use the following structure.

Softball and Baseball:

15 First-Team All-Americans

15 Second-Team All-Americans

15 Honorable Mention All-Americans

Baseball and Softball National All-Academic Team

Nominations for the Baseball and Softball National All-Academic team will be accepting beginning on April 15th, at 9:00 PM. Nominations will be accepted until 12:00 PM EST on April 29th. To be eligible for the USCAA National All-Academic team students must be of sophmore standing or higher with a 3.5 GPA. 

Baseball and Softball National Championship Bid Day:

On Friday, May 1st the USCAA will release the 2015 Softball National Championship bid selection video at 5:00 P.M. EST followed by the Baseball National Championship bid selection video at 5:30 P.M. EST. After the videos have been released, each team issued a bid will receive an official bid letter via email. Attached to the email will be any important documents for the teams that will pertain to the National Championship.

2015 USCAA National Convention

The 2015 USCAA National Convention will be held at the Doubletree Downtown Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from June 7-10, 2015.

Athletic Directors, administrators, and coaches are encouraged to attend this annual meeting. Town Hall sessions on championships, rating/selection and bylaws, business meetings, as well as professional development are all events that will take place during the convention. Members are encouraged to send at least one representative.
