The USCAA Baseball and Softball National Championship selection shows will utilize the same medium introduced for the Basketball National Championships this past winter. USCAA Executive Director Matthew Simms and Associate Director Michael Goodman will be joining WHKT radio in Portsmouth, Virginia to announce selections on-air. The dates for the selection shows are below.
Baseball: April 29th, 12:00 PM EST
Softball: May 5th, 12:00 PM EST
Members will be able to listen to the selection radio show online at www.tunein.com or www.radio.net. You can search ‘WHKT’ in the search bar provided by those sites to find the station and listen live. You can also download the Tune In app to listen on any mobile device. The radio station can be accessed directly at www.1650theanswer.com and be sure to follow their Twitter account, @WHKTAM1650.
Announcements will also be made on our Twitter account, @USCAA. We’ll be live tweeting during the show as well as broadcasting over the periscope app. Schools and student-athletes are encouraged to join the conversation.
