Join the USCAA for our Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk

The USCAA is proud to announce its 1st Annual Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk to raise money and awareness for Vetshouse, a Virginia Beach-based non-profit that serves homeless veterans in Hampton Roads.

The 5K will take place immediately after the 2016 USCAA National Cross Country Championships at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex on November 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with packet pick up and registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. Registration includes a t-shirt, chip-timed results, and a post-race party. The registration price is $20 for veterans and $25 for civilians.  Each participant will also receive a family pack of four tickets to the USCAA Fall Championship week featuring the Volleyball and Soccer National Championships, which takes place at the Fieldhouse and Sportsplex.

"The goal of having our Fall Championships in Virginia Beach was to enhance the quality of experience for our student-athletes, generate larger economic development for Hampton Roads, and to give back to the community," USCAA Executive Director, Matt Simms said. "This event not only creates content for this week long festival, but also gives back to a vital organization in our area.”
