Bryant & Stratton - Liverpool Campus Approved for 2018-2019 Membership

NORFOLK, VA – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and its Board of Directors have announced the addition of Bryant & Stratton College - Liverpool to the association’s membership for the 2018-19 academic year.

Bryant & Stratton College was founded in 1854 and now has campuses in New York, Virginia, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The Bryant & Stratton Liverpool campus located in Liverpool, NY, campus will begin athletics in the 2018-2019 academic year.  The Liverpool campus offers 19 degrees and 12 associate degrees to their 200 on campus students. Bryant & Stratton Liverpool is one of only two campuses in the country that offers Graphic Design degrees and outfits their students with Apple Macintosh computers and industry leading technology.

The athletic department will be overseen by Bryant & Stratton Syracuse Athletic Director, Nick Dimitrievski. Men’s Basketball will be the first sport offered to current and potential students as they begin recruiting for next year. The Bobcats will compete on the USCAA Division I level. Dan Frisina will lead the men’s basketball program as their first head coach in program history. Athletic Director Nick Dimitrievski said, “Bryant & Stratton College is excited to bring another campus into the USCAA and begin competing immediately for national championships. We are opening avenues for students to earn their degrees while competing in sports they love.”

Matthew Simms, USCAA Executive Director was quoted saying, “The USCAA is happy to announce our first new member for the 2018-2019 academic year. Bryant & Stratton College continues to grow and the addition of athletics at the Liverpool campus will only further the college’s growth.”

The Bryant & Stratton Liverpool Campus will be a full member of the USCAA beginning on July 1st, 2018 and will eligible for post season competition immediately. The Liverpool Campus is the first new member approved by the Board of Directors for membership for the 2018-2019 academic year.

About the USCAA

The primary goal of the USCAA is to provide members with an association that is devoted to the growth, vision, and values of their institutions. The USCAA’s focus is to enhance member institutions through athletics. The association intends to achieve this goal by providing opportunities for small colleges to compete on an equal level of competition with schools of like size and athletic programs. The USCAA conducts 12 national championships, names All-Americans, recognizes scholar athletes, and promote USCAA member schools in various means. The USCAA believes that the integrity and credibility of the association and its members is paramount in accomplishing its goal.
