Former USCAA All-American; Darius Prince Signs With The Philadelphia Eagles

For Immediate Release: August 20, 2018

We are pleased to announce that former USCAA All-American Darius Prince has officially signed with the reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles as of Saturday. His addition will add depth to their wide receiving corps, where he will surely thrive with Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles and the great Carson Wentz upon his return.

Before the start of his NFL career, Prince spent two seasons with the Philadelphia Soul, an organization of the Arena Football League. He debuted there in the 2017 playoffs where he put up impressive numbers. In his first game, he managed to tally up 76 yards and a touchdown as well. Later on, in that playoff run in ArenaBowl XXX he came down with two touchdowns and went on to be named the MVP. In his most recent AFL season he lead the league in receptions with 89, he also ended up with over 1,000 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns. At the end of the season, he finished 2nd in receiving yards and 3rd in total receiving touchdowns.

Surprisingly, Prince was not a USCAA All-American for football. Instead, he played basketball for Penn State-Greater Allegheny and went on to play at Penn State- Beaver. In 2011 while playing for Penn State Greater Allegheny, Prince was named to an All-American after averaging 22.5 points per game.  It is indeed an honor to see our former athletes flourish in their post-collegiate careers. We will be sure to keep an eye out for Darius’s future milestones and accomplishments
