Athletic Director, Keisha Pexton, announced this week the hiring of Jeff Egnot as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Academics.  Egnot is a 2002 graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education and has recently received his Masters in Administration k-12 from Cambridge College in 2013.

“We are excited to bring Jeff on board as part of the athletic department staff at The Apprentice School,” said Keisha Pexton.  “His previous experiences in athletic administration and ability to work well with young adults will certainly be of great value to our athletics program.”

Jeff was most recently the Physical Education and Athletic Director at Oscar Smith Middle School in Virginia. As Athletic Director, he oversaw the school’s ten programs.

Growing up in Newport News and having family go through The Apprentice School, you know the importance and tradition that name carries.  I am very thankful to be given this opportunity and to be a part of The Apprentice School family and Athletic program.” Said Egnot
