He resides in Troy with his wife Ashley.
The 1972 Men’s Basketball Team will also be inducted. The team finished that year with a 30-3 overall record en route to winning the conference championship. The season record of 30-3 ranks as the most wins in a season at the College. Members of that team included Brian Cousins, Walter Dearborn, Richard Fecteau, Ron Landry, Dave Leavitt, Reggie Mains, Tom McGonagle, Bill Mershimer, Jim Stacy, Gary White, and the deceased John Reed. The team was coached by John Dakin.
“Both Patrick and the 1972 Men’s Basketball team had a tremendous impact as student athletes during their time at the college,” said SMCC Director of Athletics Matt Richards. “Induction into the SMCC Athletics Hall of Fame is very fitting for them as they exemplify what we hope our current student athletes will strive to become.”
