Beaver, PA – On Saturday, August 28, 2010, the Penn State Beaver Lady Lions Women’s Basketball Team participated in the “Run for Life 5K” at the Beaver Fire Station. The race helped support the Women’s Shelter of Beaver County.
By participating, the Lady Lions raised $240 for the shelter. Lady Lions who participated were (Backrow, Left to Right): Amy Green, Asst. The Lady Lions will continue their 2010-2011 community service campaign as they teamup with the Girls Hope of Pittsburgh Organization on September 5th, 2010.
