Brandywine Completes Perfect Conference Slate

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team completed its Penn State University Athletic  Conference scheduled with a perfect 9-0 record after defeating Penn State New Kensington 6-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Brandywine (13-1, 9-0 PSUAC), which outscored its nine league opponents 63-12, had already clinched the No. 1 seed in next week's PSUAC Tournament and will host an opponent still to be determined on Monday, October 31 at 3:00 pm in a semifinal match at Maple Zone.

Bill Walleekendeh (Chester, Pa./Chester) scored a pair of goals, while Brad Jule (Chadds Ford, Pa./Salesianum) recorded a goal and two assists.

Trevin Jones (Springfield, Pa./The Christian Academy), Jeison Fajardo (Bala Cynwyd, Pa./Lower Merion) and Anthony Neufville (Wallingford, Pa./Christ Academy) also netted goals for the Lions.

Joe Opdenaker (Lenni, Pa./The Christian Academy) stopped six shots in goal, while Will Scott-Norris (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) saved one shot as the duo split time in net.

Brandywine, which now owns a 12-game winning streak, will be looking for its third PSUAC title in four years when it begins the conference tournament next week.
