Baseball Falls In Both Games of Double Header

Lehman, PA - Penn State Wilkes-Barre falls in double header action Sunday afternoon against Penn State Mont Alto. Game one started with Mont Alto jumping out to an early lead in the first inning on two singles in the inning  and utilizing runs in the 5th and 6th innings in route to a 12-0 Mont Alto win. In game two Wilkes-Barre would be the first to strike in the bottom of the 1st on a Eric Gurzynski walk with the bases load that allowed Sean-Paul Williamson to score. Wilkes-Barre would add a run in the bottom of the third on a Gurynski ground rule double allowing Williamson to score another run. In the bottom of the fourth, Kerry Meyers singled allowing Mike Delaney to score. Mont Alto would answer with five runs in the top of the fifth to take the lead on a pair of sinlges and a three run homer and never look back in a 11-3 Mont Alto win.
