Penn State Brandywine Falls At Moravian

BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania – The Penn State Brandywine volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (15-25, 12-25, 17-25) by Moravian College in a non-conference match on Thursday night.

The Lions (9-6, 5-1 PSUAC) received seven kills and one ace from junior Kelsi Wiest, while classmate Nicole Costa added six kills. Miranda Biondi, this week's PSUAC Setter of the Week, dished out 19 assists.

Junior Kimberly Russo led the Lions with 11 digs, while classmate Molly Nichols tallied five and freshman Nicole Poissant added four digs and one block, along with four kills.

Moravian's Taylor Kornmann led all players with 11 kills and Megan Szkolnicki amassed 26 assists.

Penn State Brandywine returns to league play on Tuesday at Penn State Mont Alto (7:00 pm). Brandywine defeated Mont Alto 3-0 earlier this fall.
