Women's Volleyball Falls to Penn State-Hazleton

The King's College Women's Volleyball team hosted Penn State Hazleton on Sunday afternoon. Penn State prevailed 3-0 (27-25, 25-5, 25-23) to drop King's overall record in this young season to 2-1.

Senior Isabelle Sandmeyer had 5 kills and 13 digs in the match. Savannah White had 6 digs. Sophomore Hope Feller had 6 kills, 9 assists and 10 digs. Freshman Samantha Klozik continued the strong start to her collegiate career with 12 kills and 11 digs. Freshman Renae Maganza added 7 assists and Sasha Conner had 2 kills and a dig. Freshman Kyra Kleinsmith rounded out the scoring with 2 service aces and 6 digs.

This was the first of eight non-conference matches the Lady Lions will play before their first Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic conference meeting with the Culinary Institute of America on September 23.
