The Kent State Tuscarawas Men's Basketball Team was beaten 91-42 by Conor Classic host Thomas More in the opening round Friday. The Saints dominated from the start and led 46-19 at the half while forcing numerous Golden Eagles turnovers and denying good looks at the basket.

For the game, the Golden Eagles shot just 26% from the floor, making just three of 21 three point attempts and committing 17 turnovers. Shakur Daye (Statesville, NC West Iredell) led the navy and gold with seven points, while JaJuante Young (Youngstown, OH / Boardman), Malik Campbell (Canton, OH / Canton South) and Gunnar Tharp (East Canton, OH / Canton South) all contributed six points each.
