Brandywine Overpowers Lehigh Valley 11-0

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine scored five times during the first 15 minutes and never looked back as the Lions claimed a season sweep of Penn State Lehigh Valley with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday, improving to 4-0 in Penn State University Athletic Conference women's soccer.

Brandywine received two goals from Brianna Banks (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Center) and Emily Jefferson (Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII Regional), while Mariah Pierce (Philadelphia, Pa./Kensington Health Sciences Academy) added three assists, all during the final 45 minutes.

In all, nine different players found the back of the net for the Lions, who netted six goals during the first half and added five more in the second.

Danielle Chattin (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Center) played the first 45 minutes in goal, making one save for her first victory, and then added a goal and an assist in the second half. Arianna Segich (Ocean City, N.J./Ocean City) made one stop during the second half.

Brandywine (4-3, 4-0 PSUAC) faces Penn State Hazleton on Sunday at 3:00 pm with first-place in the PSUAC on the line.
