Men's Basketball almost gritted out the win, but Penn State Greater Allegheny managed to hold on at the end, 60–58, to win their first PSUAC Championship in eleven years.
Penn State York was looking for their fourth championship in five years, but it wasn't to be.
Playing in front of an enthusiastic home crowd, Penn State York's usual high-octane offense was slowed, but the team fought hard in the back-and-forth defensive battle. Both teams shot poorly from the field, but York's 7-17 line from the charity stripe would come back to bite them.
Trent Thomas led York with 22 points, while Greater Allegheny's Jordan Payne led all scorers with 29, including 6 made three-pointers. On an all-around cold shooting day for the team, Calvin Luckenbaugh was a bright spot, adding 14 on 5-6 shooting from the field.
Penn State Greater Allegheny earned the PSUAC's automatic bid to the USCAA National Tournament, while Penn State York awaits the possibility of an at-large bid.
