NEWPORT NEWS - Nyla Jackson had 29 points on the day as the Apprentice School women's basketball team blew past Regent Sunday afternoon, 76-51.
The Builders led nearly wire-to-wire outside of some early trading of baskets. The only quarter Regent outscored Apprentice was in the final period by a score of 15-13.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Jackson's 29 points included shooting 11-of-20 from the floor, hitting five three pointers.
- Jada Bryant finished with another double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds.
- Apprentice had 21 assists on 31 made baskets.
