Wright State Lake Women's Basketball came into Saturday's game versus Indiana University - Southbend fresh off their first win, but Titans of IUSB were coming off a loss and looking for a bounce back win.The Titans used strong shooting from their guards to take an early lead and maintain it throughout. Ultimately the strong shooting from the Titans and the poor shooting og the Lakers lead to a 87-35 defeat to IUSB. 

How It Happened:

Out of the gate the Titans from IUSB played with urgency and were able to control much of the first half. The Lakers were unable to get much going offensively early. IUSB held a 28-6 lead after the first quarter, and they did not look back. At the half the Lakers trailed 47-19. The Lakers were plagued by poor shooting, including going 3-18 from three.  

In the second half the Lakers shooting woes continued and IUSB continued to slowly extend their lead. Onyx Lopez lead the Lakers with 13 on 4-19 shooting from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line. Haley McGillvary added a nice game with 12 total rebounds, including 4 offensive boards as well as 3 blocked shots and 2 steals.
