Desiree Lawrence's triple double leads Central Penn College to victory

The Central Penn College Lady Knights scored a big 89-61 victory against the Valley Forge Christian College Patriots on February 11. After trading early baskets and leads, the Lady Knights used its stingy defense to create turnovers and take control of the game midway through the first half. 

The Central Penn defense grabbed 33 defensive rebounds (53 total rebounds) and caused 24 turnovers. Senior Desiree Lawrence scored a triple double (17 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds) to lead the Lady Knights' offense. Fellow senior Jasmine Robinson lit up the scoreboard with 38 points, giving her 1,995 career points. Camp Hill native, Nicole Schmidhamer added 18 points and eight rebounds.

The win ends a four-game skid as Central Penn hosts Alfred State College on Saturday, February 15.
