Grace College Too Much for Lakers

Wright State Lake Campus scattered six hits on Saturday, but weren't able to push enough runs across, and lost 13-2 to Grace College.

Grisby recorded the win for Grace College. He allowed one run over six innings. Grisby struck out eight, walked two and gave up five hits.

Green, Enyart and Warren helped lead Grace College. They combined for five hits and nine RBIs.

Austin Baumgardner couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lakers, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out four.

In the bottom of the first, the Lakers grabbed the early lead, 1-0. A single by Isaac Fitzgerald, bringing home Derek Waterman started the inning off.

Grace College never trailed after scoring three runs in the second on a two-run double by Warren.

Grace College increased its lead with three runs in the fifth. Green's two-run blast got things going, plating Helper.

Grace College added seven more runs in the top of the sixth. The inning got off to a hot start when Enyart doubled, scoring Bray, Green and Maxwell. That was followed up by Warren's two-run home run, scoring Enyart.
