Lions Defeated By Centenary

HACKETTSTOWN, New Jersey -- Centenary scored seven times during the first half and never looked back during an 8-0 men's soccer victory over Penn State Brandywine on Monday afternoon.

The Cyclones received goals from six different players in taking the 7-0 lead after 45 minutes, while holding a 10-1 edge in shots.

Playing its second game in as many days, Brandywine answered with four shots on goal during the second half, including two off the foot of Bill Walleekendeh (Chester, Pa./Chester), but Cyclone goalkeeper Jesse Goleman stopped each scoring attempt.

Will Scott-Norris (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) registered a pair of saves in goal for Brandywine.

Brandywine (4-7, 3-1 PSUAC) returns to conference play Wednesday when it visits Penn State Schuylkill for a 4:00 pm match.
