  • Soccer Team Signs Standout Goalie
    July 21, 2015
The CCA Soccer Team has announced that Matt Fallon, a standout goalie from Hamel Hempstead, England, will be joining the roster this year. Fallon comes to Concordia after helping lead his former team to a 17-3-1 record last season.
Head coach, Emanuel Stephens, says that Fallon will help fill a big need for the Hornets at goalie, as one of the top goalkeepers in school history, Fredy Mendoza, graduated last spring.
?Matt is a very experienced goalkeeper and will be a great asset this season,? Coach Stephens said. ?His size makes him a big presence in the goal, and he backs that up by being solid in the air. He is good with the ball at his feet and a great shot stopper with good agility.?
The Soccer Team arrived on campus July 19, and have begun training for the 2015 season.
