This week’s Baseball Player of the Week honor goes to senior outfielder, Joseph Mendez of St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn). In a doubleheader sweep of Maritime (NY), the senior went an impressive 4 of 5 from the plate, which included 4 homeruns (3 in game one alone). Mendez finished game one of the doubleheader with a career high 8 RBI (11 RBI on the day), 4 of which came off his first career grand slam. Mendez is now the programs home run leader with 14.
