Zachary Mattos of the College of St. Joseph’s Vermont is the USCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore from New London, New Hampshire makes it back to back weeks as national pitcher of the week with a complete game performance against NAIA foe, Fisher College. Mattos threw a 4-0 shutout win, allowing just seven hits while also recording four strikeouts against the Falcons. The victory marks Mattos’ fourth win on the season and second shutout. Zach has 33 strikeouts on the year and a 0.56 ERA for the month of April.
