This week’s Men’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week honor goes to Jose Nouchantavong of Southern Maine Community College. The junior guard led his Seawolves to a 1-1 week with a victory over USCAA member and YSCC foe, College of St. Joseph’s (VT). Jose nearly missed out on a triple-double in their lone victory with 26 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds. On the week, Jose averaged 28 points on 55.6% (7.5-13.5) shooting from the field, 67% from behind the arc, and 87% from the charity stripe. He also added 6.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 2.5 steals.
