DeJuan Owens of Villa Maria College is the USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week. The Villa Maria Vikings had a perfect holiday break with four wins in four games. The team won three games against USCAA Division I opponents including #9 The Apprentice School where Owens had 10 points in the road victory. The next day he set a program record 39 points in a 97-95 victory over Stratford University. He was efficient from the floor shooting 50% and set a school record with nine three-pointers – five of which came in the second-half.
