Zyrion Wilkins of the Johnson & Wales University-Charlotte Wildcats is the USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week. Wilkins set a new career high in points with 17 for the Wildcats in a come-from-behind overtime victory against Carolina Christian. The freshman scored all 17 of his points in the second half as Johnson & Wales faced a 15 point deficit. He matched his career high just 48 hours later in a win over Mid-Atlantic Christian University on 3-of-5 from behind the arc and 65% from the field.
