This week’s Men’s Division I Basketball Player of the Week goes to sophomore guard, Michael Megafu of St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn). Megafu led his squad to a 2-1 record over the week and helped lead the Bears to their first HVIAC regular season title since the 2009-10 season with victories over Sarah Lawrence College and the Culinary Institute. Shooting 66% from the floor, Megafu picked up 2 double-doubles on the week as he averaged 21 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
