Danny Santana of SUNY Canton is the Men’s Division I Basketball Player of the Week. A freshman from Clifton, New Jersey, Santana averaged 24.5 points during the week on 48.5% shooting from the field (including 56.5% from three-point range). The highlight of the week for the Roos’ was Santana’s game against Paul Smith’s College, where he tallied a career-high 31 points and set the program’s NCAA era record with nine made three-pointers in a 106-68 win.
