This week’s Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week honor goes to Benjamin Schmidt of Albany College of Pharmacy. Schmidt and the Panthers competed in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Championships this past week where Schmidt placed in 1st overall place in the 8k race with a time of 29 minutes, 54 seconds for an average mile time of 6 minutes. With Schmidt leading the way, the Panthers were able to place in 2nd place in the HVIAC Championships.
