This week’s Softball Pitcher of the Week honor goes to Sarah Bortner of Penn State Mont Alto. Bortner’s dominant week featured 44 strikeouts in four games where Mont Alto went 3-1. In 28 innings pitched, she allowed only 10 total hits and gave up just two earned runs for an era of .50. She also managed to help herself out while at the plate as she went 8 for 16 with 6 RBIs and a homerun.
