Vanessa Jackson of Penn State Beaver is the USCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week. Jackson was a workhorse for the Lions, pitching a remarkable 36.2 innings over 8 appearances. The junior pitcher finished the week 6-1 with five complete games pitched. In 36.2 innings, Jackson allowed less than a hit per inning, giving up 16 earned runs and striking out 26. Thanks to Jackson’s work in the circle, PSU Beaver is now 15-11 after a four-game sweep of Penn State Greater Allegheny.
