Tierra Lester of Mid-Atlantic Christian University earns this week’s Women’s Division IIBasketball Player of the Week honors. Lester registered three straight double-doubles as the Mustangs improved to 9-7 on the season with victories against USCAA member Penn State York and NCAA DIII institution Cairn University last week. The junior scored 19 points including a game tying layup at the buzzer to force the first of two overtime periods against Cairn. On the week Lester averaged 17.3 points and 18.7 rebounds over three games.
