Danasia Dumas of Warren Wilson College has been named USCAA Women’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week. Against NCAA Division I University of North Carolina Ashville, Dumas scored 25 points and pulled down eight boards in the loss. The very next day in a contest against NCAA DII Mars Hill, the junior point guard put up 25 points and had seven rebounds in the program’s first ever win over Mars Hill.
