Jhanel Brown of University of Valley Forge has been named USCAA Women’s Division I Basketball Player of the Week. The University of Valley Forge Women’s basketball team competed in the Wesleyan University Tournament where Brown averaged a double-double in points and assists. In the opening game of the tournament the Virginia native scored 21 points and brought down 21 boards. Against University of Maine Presque Isle, Brown was two rebounds away from another double-double with eight and 23 points.
