Arielys Rodriguez of College of St. Joseph’s Vermont has been named USCAA Women’s Division I Basketball Player of the Week. Rodriquez scored 57 points for the Fighting Saints of St. Joseph’s Vermont in two games last week. In their first contest of the week against SUNY Delhi, the guard was 5-for-8 from behind the arc in the 98-91 victory. The team’s second game of the week saw the Florida native score a season high 33 points through 50 percent shooting from inside the arc, and 9-of-14 shooting from behind the three-point line.
