Asheville, NC - The University of Maine-Fort Kent Lady Bengals defeated the fifth-seeded Albany College of Pharmacy Panthers in the semi-finals of the 2012 USCAA women's soccer National Championship. USCAA All-American Katherine Ferland followed up her three-goal day one performance with a second straight hat trick to lead the Bengals in victory. Erin Madore, Ariane Pelletier, Theresea Biggs added individual goals for Maine-Fort Kent in route to their third straight trip to the National Championship game. 

Albany College of Pharmacy's lone goal came at the 62:00 minute mark by Jen Bechard on an assist from Alexa Schooley. University of Maine-Fort Kent will face off against the Daemen College Wildcats in the National Championship game on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
